Where is Mike Now? - FCC Lomoc, CA

I'm visiting FCC Lompoc this week to help the Local with several issues.

One of them is the arbitration decision that they won over negotiating protective equipment, specifically less lethal equipment; you can read the arbitrator's award here.  The BOP filed exceptions to the award with the FLRA, and the FLRA remanded the decision back to the arbitrator to re-write part of the award; you can read the FLRA decision here.

I'll be meeting with former Local 3048 President Barry Fredieu (retired) to get all the information I can on the case (Barry filed and invoked the original grievance to arbitration) so I can help with any briefs that need to be submitted to the arbitrator for the remand.
