I'm returning once again to SeaTac for a few reasons: AFGE Local 1102 is holding an arbitration hearing this week. I've offered my assistance as an 'expert witness' in the area of correctional operations, safety and security. We've been very successful helping arbitrators understand the fact that Bureau of Prisons employees, the moment we enter a prison, must maintain alertness, look for security concerns or breaches, respond to emergencies, observe and correct inmate behavior, etc.
Local 1102 is also hosting one of the nearly 100 AFGE/AFL-CIO marches for Cancel the Cuts - Repeal the Sequester! National Day of Action on March 20th, 2013. I'll be joining Local 1102 at the rally.
