I'm traveling to Washington, DC, to assist Desaray Biernacki, President, AFGE Local 1217, FCI Herlong, in testifying before the Federal Salary Council at OPM Headquarters.

Local 1217 is working with other Federal Employee groups to have Herlong included in an adjacent locality pay area instead of only receiving 'rest of the US'.  It would make the difference between 22.2% locality pay(the Sacramento--Arden-Arcade--Yuba City locality pay area that stretches across Central California all the way to Carson City NV) and the 14.16% 'rest of the US' that Herlong employees are receiving now.
