Where is Mike Now - Policy Negotiations, FCI La Tuna

We returned to the table this week for scheduled policy negotiations.  As I have posted before, the Agency, in one move, declared 65 of our proposals non-negotiable on the Staff Entrance and Search Procedures Policy.

The Council filed negotiability appeals with the FLRA on all of the proposals that the Agency declared non-negotiable.

Union Policy Chairman, Dwayne Person, participated in a conference call last week with the Agency and the Washington DC FLRA office.  We are scheduled to have a Collaboration and Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR) Program mediation next month, in an attempt to resolve the dispute.

The three CADR Union participants will be Dwayne Person (MAR RVP), Greg Shadowens (USP Marion), and me.
