In a recent post, I talked about going with Dwayne Person (MARVP), Greg Shadowens (USP Marion), and Michael Castelle (retired National Fair Practices Coordinator) to represent CPL33 at a Collaboration and Alternative Dispute Resolution Office (CADRO) meeting at FLRA Headquarters in Washington, DC.
The meeting/mediation went so well that we replaced what had been a scheduled National Policy Negotiations session for the Staff Entrance and Search Procedures Policy with another meeting with the FLRA CADRO office.
So far, we have resolved over half of the 65 Union proposals in dispute. The hope is that we might be able to finish this week and come to terms with all of the Union's concerns with the policy.
As always, I'll keep you up to date on any progress made with this very important policy.
